What You Can Do with Inquiry Management
Inquiry management is a QDIC feature for managing access permission requests for assets in the catalog. From the Inquiry Management screen, you can do the following:
- Check the status of access permission requests you have submitted
- Withdraw access permission requests you have submitted
Accessing Inquiry Management
Click the Inquiry Management icon from the Navigation panel. The Inquiry Management screen will be displayed.
What is an Inquiry?
An inquiry refers to an access permission request issued by a user who does not have access rights to an asset or its metadata, addressed to an administrator or operator.
Issuing a Request
Requests are made from the asset side drawer. Requests cannot be issued from the inquiry management screen.
When a request is issued, an email notification is sent to the person in charge who belongs to the user group with approval authority, informing them that you have made a request. When the person in charge logs into the workspace, the application can also be confirmed from the notification center.
